Welcome to Jackie and Shirley

Hello to everyone and Happy New Year! I apologize for the lack of recent updates...I have been out of the office for some time.

We are already into the new year full-swing in the office, so I wanted to introduce a couple of new staff members. Jackie Von Ogden has joined DMS as our Editorial Manager. In addition, Shirley Sparling has joined as our new office manager.

(The last issue, November/December, is available online in case you missed it. It's our yearly Facts & Stats issue, which means it's filled to the brim with hard-to-find statistics about the Indiana population and workforce, so it's definitely worth a look!)

New Websites and Content For Your Viewing Pleasure

The new Building Indiana News website is up and running, so please stop by and check it out. There's a new section called "Get Involved," which has a lot of great ways for our readers and clients to be featured in the magazine.

The Building Indiana Blog also has a new look and its own domain name now, so check that out as well. The DMS website and blog are next on the list, so look forward to seeing some great changes in the next month or so!

A New Face

We are happy to welcome Chrsichelle Schmidt to the DMS team. As the new leader of our marketing department, Chrischelle is responsible for executing marketing strategies for company products and services, and coordinating advertising activities. She is a Crown Point native and has worked as a certified phlebotomist, a certified Indiana State tax appraiser, a certified employment consultant for people with disabilities, and an outside sales representative for the staffing industry. We are very excited to have Chrischelle working with us.
